Reel quality

Reels usually resolve at up to 1080×1920. You get the best variant the source exposes; when only one quality exists, we label it “Best available” rather than padding the list with fake options.

Public Reels only

Only Reels from public accounts can be saved. Private accounts, close-friends Reels, and anything behind a login are not accessible and are never bypassed.

Why a Reel might not download

Only Reels from public accounts can be saved. Reels from private accounts, Reels that were removed, and Reels blocked in your region can't be fetched. If Instagram is temporarily limiting requests you'll see a short error — try again in a minute. Paste the link to the Reel itself (it contains /reel/), not the creator's profile.
