Clipimo does not require an account, sign-up, or login to use the downloader.

You paste a public Instagram or Facebook URL. Clipimo uses that URL to locate and resolve the media you request.

To deliver a download and keep the service secure, our infrastructure may process technical request data such as IP address, request time, and basic log information. This temporary processing supports delivery, security, and abuse prevention.

Clipimo does not intentionally or permanently store the media you download. Media is resolved on request and passed through; direct source URLs are returned when possible.

Resolving media requires requests to the source platforms (Instagram, Facebook) and their content delivery networks (CDNs). Those third parties may receive requests as part of normal operation.

To understand how the service is used and improve it, Clipimo collects a small set of privacy-preserving, aggregate product metrics — for example which page was viewed, which platform a download targeted, and whether a resolve succeeded or failed. These are counts only. Clipimo does not attach them to any account or persistent identifier, and does not include the social-media URLs you paste, the resolved media or its URLs, downloaded files, or your IP address.

Clipimo currently does not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics vendors, payment processing, or user accounts.
